Then it will be a 3DS/Vita sales situation, or 3DS before price cut and after it. The price is the main reason for good sales, as you can see.
@Technical World
>Original Mario
For g-d sake don't put words Mario and original together.
>The 3DS provides a unique experience.
For example?
Mario?
Zelda?
Mohun?
RE?
MGS?
Unique experience indeed. /S
@PopRocks359
Kingdom Hearts, Resident Evil, Mario - are not unique experiences. In what way are they unique? It's just like I said - they are new iterations of old franchises. They are not unique - they are offering well known gameplay for their series. Monster Hunter, Zelda, MGS, Street Fighter 4 are ports from other platforms. But they sell tons on 3DS. So I don't see, how gamers need unique experience like you say. They buy ports and iterations of old franchises - that is ...

>>and more unique gaming experiences.
If you look at 3DS, you can clearly see, that gamers do not need "unique gaming experience". They need iterations of famous franchises and multiplatform ports.
@JoySticksFTW
>>Especially when you can buy a 160gb PS3 for the same price right now. And $50 more gets you a 320gb PS3.
WTF? What will I do with PS3, when I'm outside the house? Do you often play your PS...
Just because some of these games are slightly playable, doesn't mean that core PS360 owners should play them. Really. There are plenty of great games around, so why spend the time on your list?
>Revelations looks like a 360 game at times
Don't fool yourself. Just play the RE4 HD remake to see much more detailed game that was made on GameCube hardware.
I finished Revelations and then played RE4HD and my hype for detalisation in Revelation scenes went off, because it's far from even RE4.
On E3 2011, when presenting the PSV, Capcom showed a Vita-techdemo of Lost Planet 2. And they said that it is really easy to develop for PSV and they made their techdemo just in two weeks. So I really don't understand, why Capcom didn't announce a multiplatform release of MH4.
And what sales did Tri have on Wii in comparsion of multiplatform Dragon's Dogma?
As far as I heard Dogma had 1 mln sales just in Japan.
Elder Scrolls became MULTIPLATFORM, so everyone can play it. But MH4 became exclusive from one system to another. It is no multiplatform. So your argument with Elder Scrolls is invalid. Why couldn't MH be multiplatform so everyone could play it on a platform of their choice? Why Capcom is forcing me to buy a system I do not want?
At least they could make a multiplatform 3DS/PSV release, because multiplatform games are common trend for more than 5 years already. Exclusive release makes no sence.
@Shok
But I don't want a 3DS. PSV has a bigger and brighter, more contrast OLED display, and built-in second analog, and more functionality. As for me, I will not buy a 3DS untill Nintendo make a buil-in second analog (yes, I have a job and $169 are not an issue, but Nintendo is making new versions of 3DS every year, adding features, so I'm not going to pay $169 today just to pay $200 more later for the two-sticks version, when two-sticks version had to be a mandatory from th...
At last someone thought about a multiplatform portable game, so I can choose on which platform will I play it.
In my case it will be a PSV. That is if Level-5 will release the game outside Japan ofcourse.
I'm a huge Ratchet fan (Future Tools of Destruction was the main reason for buying a PS3), but I think Size Matters was terrible. I liked Agent Clank though. And Gladiator is kinda fun too. But the main trilogy in HD is more that I can dream of. And I also would like a PSV version.
Project Diva f for me.
@Hufandpuf
At least Wii had some great and unique core-games in oppose to Kinect.
Camera control in the Wii version is awfull due to the lack of second analog stick to control the camera. Controlling camera rotation from a D-pad was frustrating.
Just for the record: the god of milking is Mario.
There are 8 games of Mario bros franchise that have been released and announced in a year.
New Super Mario Bros 2
SMB U
Paper Mario 3DS
Mario Kart 3DS
Mario Land 3DS
Luigi's Mansion 3DS
Mario Tennis 3DS
Mario Party 9
Trully a god of milking franchises. No Kratos can compete that. Just saying.
Seven years ago on DS.
But srsly, now I want multiplatform releases for FF4 and two Crystal Chronicles games from DS on my PSP.
@GynGa
Agreed. Sony can make great 1st party games. But I wish Sony could also push the sales of those games to the level, that those games deserves.
And the other thing with PSV, that I don't understand, is the 3rd party support. Why all those 3rd party developers make exclusive games for 3DS instead of making them multiplatform with PSP or PSV. Just like Time Travellers from Level 5. I mean multiplatform is a common trend for 6 years now.
A...
